33 Buckets
I made this video while working at the ASU Foundation, and I wanted to share it on my personal blog as well because I think it is a really good cause. Basically, in Bangladesh, the water every where is contaminated, especially at the schools. Well, a group of students at ASU devised a filter, literally revolutionized the way water is distributed to these school. Now, all they need is funding to mass produce the filters and equipment needed. The fundraising campaign has already begun, and you can donate any amount here: https://asu.useed.net/projects/70/home
Pharo Summer ‘13 Teaser
Lizzy Zagami X Afranz
Definitely my favorite photo I have ever taken. An ASU graduate, standing in the fountain at Old Main, burning a grade book. Congrats Lizzy.
A couple more stills from Petie Rico’s “Why Am I On This Level” Music Video shoot. I always like to shoot a few extra shots, even without talent, to add when editing for that extra little flare. I hate when music videos are boring, because they don’t have enough footage.
Another Saxon Short. This one is called Red. Just watch it.
Short Shorts with a Short Leash is a film festival founded by Chris Heck of Theatre 13. It started in the back alley of a record shop using a sheet on the wall, and actually, the films may still be premiered that way. So, come out May 18th and check out some local films, music and food.
Oh, and Boy in the Clouds with be premiering there as well. Hype.
Alice Cooper X Fiat X Afranz
The commercial I shot with Alice Cooper will be released soon. I will post it once it premiers on TV! So thankful I had this opportunity.
ASU is featuring the work of student artists graduating, and it’s going down tonight at the Icebox in downtown Phoenix, near First Fridays. Hype.
The Afranz Interview by Wired Elephant Studios
Wired Elephant Studios, founded by Chris Smith, is highlighting different artists that are on the come up. In this interview, I talk about my beginnings as a filmmaker, my inspirations and how I view the world. I really didn’t like being on the other side of the camera.
